SPELLBREAK THE SERIES (S1 EPI4 "7th scene final part" )

Some time has passed, and Dean sits around a makeshift fire pit, looking at Damian and Isaac sitting across from him, eating a cooked lizard,

Damian: "Ugh! This is the best damn thing I've eating in a decade here, thank the Gods we found those spices"

Dean: "A decade? Wait... how long have you all been here?" He asks,

Isaac swallows: "Ehhh its different for everyone, this week will mark five years and eighteen days"

Damian: "I think I've been here a little over eight years"

Dean: "And what about him?" He gestures to Rook, who is seemingly sleeping in his hammock,

Both Damian and Isaac looks at eachother, before looking back to Dean,

Isaac: "He's been here longer than both of us..."

Dean looks up at the man, a concerned expression on his face,

Damian: "So kid, what did you do to get exiled?" He takes a bite,

Dean: "What?"

Damian swallowed: "Come on, you're what? Sixteen?"

Dean: "Nineteen..."

Damian: "Ha! Still, what bullshit reason did they give for you? Everyone has their reason, I disagreed with the my High Mage"

Isaac: "I blew up a building" he shrugs, getting Dean to looks at him, worried,

Isaac: "It was an accident, of course, didn't change their minds though"

Damian: "See? The "ultimate punishment" doesn't seem that special"

Dean: "And... him?..." he gestures to Rook again,

Isaac: "Not even we know..."

Dean: "Then how do you trust..."

Damian: "In the Exiled plane, a man is entitled to one thing, his secrets, no matter who you were before, doesn't matter here"

Isaac: "He's saved our lives more times than we can count since we've been here, and he hasn't asked for anything in return"

Damian: "Thats enough for us to know what kind of man he is, we don't ask what happened before, and you shouldn't either, we owe him that much" they all look up to him again,

Damian: "Anyways, what about you? We told you ours"

Dean: "I found something... i wasn't supposed to and... Oh Gods, what am I doing! I need to go now!" He stands, panicked,

Damian: "Woah woah woah calm down!"

Isaac: "What do you mean?" They both get up to stop him,

Dean: "N.. no i can't! Everyone i care about is in danger!"

Damian: "Listen kid, we, of all people, understand what you're feeling, but just take a breath, there's nothing you can do now"

Dean: "There has to be a way, a..a... a back door, or..."

Damian: "All portal are one way, this place is a punishment, they wouldn't use it if..."

Dean: "There. Has. To. Be one..."

Rook: "There isn't..." all their attention is taken by Rook, who jumps down, causing Dean to step back, as Rook walks to him, Damian and Isaac stepping out of his way,

Rook: "There is no back door, there is no other way, there's nothing... sooner you accept that, the easier it'll be..."

Dean: "i refuse..." he looks up at him, surprisingly holding his composure, as Rook just looks at him, pity in his eyes,

Rook: "Than you'll die searching, like a thousand others before you..."

Dean: "How do you know! How are you so sure! That you'd just give up like this!"

Rook: "Because I search for THIRTEEN YEARS!" he gets in his face, finally causing Dean to break, and look terrified, as Damian and Isaac looks on worried in the background,

Rook: "Thirteen years... before I accepted reality, that was four years ago, I've been to ever corner of this realm, there is... nothing..." he walks away, as Dean looks down, thinking,

Dean: "What about the tower? On the mountain?"

Isaac: "Out of the question"

Dean: "What? What do you..."

Damian: "We can't get near it, its in the most Skarikk infested territory in the plane"

Isaac: "Not to mention the lightning storm surrounding it that seems to target anything that gets close"

Dean: "You all haven't even tried!?"

Rook: "Its a death sentence!"

Dean: "I'd rather die than sit and let my friends be hurt while I do nothing, i thank you all for everything you've done, truly, but I need to go, Damian, can you open the door for me?"

Damian: "This kid can't be serious..."

Isaac: "I know emotions are high right now, but let's just..."

Rook: "Fine..." all their attention goes to him again,

Rook: "We'll take you to the tower, maybe then you'll understand... go to sleep, we'll leave at first light..." he walks away, and climbs back to his hammock,

Dean: "Thank you!

Damian: "Well that was more exciting than the Skarikk fight..." he whispers to Isaac, who chuckles at his joke,

Isaac: "I will say one thing... the kids got spirit..."

They both looks at Dean, who goes to lie down, the camera stays on him, before the scene ends.
