Hustler culture
Apparently not wanting to turn my hobbies into a business makes me a bad person. And telling someone that owns their own business that I don't want to sell my hobby with them, means I'm lazy and not wanting to get anywhere in life.
Everytime I do a little craft, just a one off thing, it's met with "ooh that's pretty, you know what you could do with that, [insert online seller]?" And guess what? Now I don't wanna do that craft anymore!
Growing up with that has now made it that I can't even accept the once I a blue moon compliments I do get cuz now it all feels fake or as if they only care about money.
I grew up poor. I know about the importance of money!
It's like when you finally make dinner all by your lonesome, or are already doing some chore or something, and a person injects their two cents tryna be helpful on something irrelevant or that your already doing and now you don't wanna do it anymore.
