Outcasts and outlands DM looking for 2-3 players | 7:00 PM EST Sundays | System: 5E 2014 Online

You are an outcast from a planet that you thought of as home. Be it from an argument against the church, or a quarrel with nobility, you've found yourself cast out from your homeland. Thrust into a 'savage' world. Here you must now make your home, or die trying.

That is the very simple synopsis for the plot of this game! This is an open world sandbox game where you as players make the 'main goals'. I'd basically just suggest that you all make a settlement and try to achieve some kind of character arc, otherwise I'm completely just here to help along the ride.

I have a good bit of lore and mechanical stuff I'm changing for this game. (the setting itself is entirely homebrew.)

I'd like for you to take a look at this google doc, as it contains everything about the game, and a small preface for applying to my game.

Beyond that, I'll just make everything clear here!

I use 2014, nothing from 2024. (no exceptions.).

You are starting at level 5 with nothing but clothes. (Prepare to minecraft.)

You get a free level 1 feat.

No unearthed arcana.

You may use any class/subclass besides bladesinger or gunslinger. (I am fine with bloodhunter.)

Species allowed are , Human, Orc, Elf, Dwarf, Kobold, Tabaxi (Named catfolk in setting.) Owlin (Named owlfolk in setting.) Goblin, lizardfolk. (I am potentially fine with very specific character concepts. One player is playing a native that is a grimlock. If you have a cool idea, just ask.)

Stat method is to be determined. I'm between a non-standard point buy, or roll several stat arrays take what you like. I'll discuss with players before session 0.

This game will be rp/combat/exploration in whatever measures you choose to take up.

Session will run for about four hours, or more if players want.

We will be using discord for VC and setting up the campaign.

This game is to be hosted on roll20, and i'd prefer you just applied here. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/429280/outcasts-and-outlands
