Maybe time to call it a day

I've been debating this lately but it may be time to call it a day and give up with this game. Now I'm a free to play player so I know that's my own decision, but it seems very hard to move up in this game. I have 6 characters (Storm, gambit, Psylocke, lady bullseye, armor& Emma frost) all at lvl 77 so far I've only pulled for Gambit and I have enough keys to pull for 2 more 3-star banners when they have a character I really want. But its ridiculous just to go from lvl 77 to Lvl 80. I complete everything in about 30-45 mins, do all the daily's and such and there's really nothing else to do for the day. I've 3 star all the story, memento and challenges so there's no EXP really to be had esp once you use the orbs. So there's nothing to do even if I spent gems to get more orbs except the same boring grind. And what happens if they raise the cap to lvl 90. omg that's a horrible thought at this point in the game. Yesterday I pulled Iron Man and the invisible girl in one pull, but I thought to myself it will take forever for me to get them up to lvl 77 with the acend grind at this point its not worth it to try till I complete the other 6 characters to lvl 80. So im not sure may be its time to call it a day with this game sadly. What do other people think?
