[F4A] The Unfinished Sacrifice

NSFWDiscord

Hi! My name is Lexi, and I am searching for some new roleplay partners. I write in third-person, past tense, and often 300+ words. I’m looking for someone to match my length and enthusiasm for the story.

For the story itself, I am thinking of a Victorian or Regency-era type setting, with low fantasy elements mixed in. I do want romance, but very slow burn, perhaps even enemies-to-lovers. Below are some plot ideas I’ve thought up:

  1. The Bride Who Lived She was meant to be offered as a bride-sacrifice to an ancient god. The knife fell, yet she lived—heart still beating, altar cold. The congregation fled, muttering that the god had refused her. Now she carries a strange mark across her chest, and society whispers whether she is chosen or cursed.
  • Your character could be the priest sent to investigate, the supposed “god” in mortal form, or a skeptic drawn in against their better judgment. Attraction comes laced with dread: is she a miracle, or an omen?
  1. The Devil’s Bargain The night of the sacrifice, a stranger intervened. He claimed her soul belonged to him, not the cult, and the ritual collapsed around us. She survived—but not untouched. A sigil burns faintly on her skin in moonlight, and she feels his presence close at hand.
  • Your character might be that stranger himself—demon, fae, or something else—or someone determined to uncover why I still draw breath. Whoever you choose, there is danger in every glance, and temptation in every unguarded word.
  1. The Hollow Church The ritual was performed in a ruined abbey. Just as the knife fell, the stones cracked, the congregation scattered, and she rose alive. Now she is whispered of as a living omen. Some beg blessings of her, others call for her death. She never asked to be made into an object of reverence or fear.
  • Your character could be the one protecting me from both mobs and cultists—whether a weary doctor, a magistrate with secrets of their own, or a wanderer who claims to know what truly stirred in those ruins. The bond between us would be as perilous as the forces circling closer.
  1. The Replacement She was never meant to be sacrificed. I was a stand-in, chosen when the intended victim slipped away. Yet when she lived through the ritual, the cultists cried out that she must be the true vessel. Now they hunt her, and society would rather see her destroyed than risk what she might become.
  • Your character could be the original sacrifice returned in guilt, a rival cultist who insists only they can guide me, or a shadowed protector whose motives are as murky as their past. Every stolen moment would carry both longing and peril.
  1. The Unfinished Ritual The rite was interrupted before the final stroke, leaving her alive but altered. The half-woven spell lingers in her veins. She dreams of voices not her own, and sometimes the candlelight bends toward her as though it remembers the altar.
  • Your character could be the one who saved me, or one who feels bound to study—or even use—what I’ve become. Attraction wars with suspicion: am I myself, or something else entirely?

Message me if you would be interested. Please include your name, writing style, and what kind of plot and character you would be interested in. Thanks!
