Do you find 'Send offer' feature to be useful as a seller?

I'm wondering if using this feature is worth the trouble and/or the money. As both an ebay buyer/seller, I only get offers from competitors. I often scratch my head at this as I just click through the most competitively priced item on the search bar and click on to see the details. I do this on a bi-weekly basis for pricing purposes and I don't even bother watching items. So for me, I'm not seeing much merit in using the feature at least for the time being. But I'm interested in learning experiences or perspectives from others. Thanks in advance guys.
