Think I bricked my pc by restarting it before windows update finished.

Hello. I restarted my computer while windows update from the desktop was installing an update. After that, whenever I entered my password to get past the log in screen the screen goes black but still has the cursor. I know this is a common issue. So I’ve tried the methods to try and get it to work. But here’s where the real problem arises.

Whenever I hold shift and attempt to go into windows recovery environment, thinking that I can just uninstall the latest update so that I can just reinstall it after. The recovery environment just doesn’t load…? It briefly shows a cmd prompt for 2 seconds before just showing a blank screen with a cursor that looks similar to that inside of the WRE. I’m so confused at this point as to what I could possibly do to fix this. I don’t care about losing my files or anything like that. I just want to get back to my desktop lmao. Any help? Thanks.
