Scorpio men & long silences — what does it usually mean?

I’ve been seeing a Scorpio man (50s) for several months now, and while things started out warm and deeply affectionate, I’ve noticed a big shift recently. After a major life event on his end, his communication patterns changed....he used to be expressive and attentive, and now he goes quiet for days at a time.

Recently, he sent me a warm, inviting photo, but since then… nothing. He’s seen my messages, been active on socials, didn't answer a call, but hasn’t replied. This silence is really confusing because there hasn’t been a fight, no harsh words, nothing.....

For those of you familiar with Scorpio men ....when they pull back like this, is it:

• Emotional overwhelm?
• Needing space to process?
• Testing the depth of the bond?
• Or a quiet signal that they’re done?
