Finally had the courage to just do it.
This past weekend there was a huge LGBT+ event held in my city the culminated in a large parade. For weeks i have been telling myself that I would go to the parade dressed fem. But, I inside had my doubts about having the courage to actually do it. But, Sunday as the parade approached, I said 'it's now or never' and put on a nice dress and a straw hat and we headed down town. We spent a couple of hours wandering around, stopped in for drinks in a couple of bars and even went to a fancy restaurant for appetizers and wine. It felt so good, so liberating. I did notice a couple of second looks, but nothing bad. I even got more than a few compliments on my dress. But, the best part was as we were heading back to the car, a group of about 4 women stopped to compliment my dress and my wife said "she has been getting so many compliments on her dress, I am starting to feel a little jealous" So my first big adventure out and about in the world went really well in my opinion and I had to tell the world somewhere.
