Arrowhead is really taking the wrong approach here

Why do they neglect the idea of a performance/optimization-focused update so much?

With each new content added, that and stability just gets worse, incrementing fixes one step at a time is just not enough. I’m sure MOST players would be fine with having a content drought for some time if it meant we would be able to actually enjoy it once it launched.

The file size is absurd, there are fps drops are everywhere, and crashes are happening constantly. It’s kinda absurd that it has been like this for SO LONG and it hasn’t been properly addressed yet, this game desperately needs a performance patch.
