14 weeks post surgery and lower left side discomfort

I am 14 weeks post surgery and bowels have been really good. I had the entire sigmoid and a large part of descending colon removed.

I started really increasing protein yesterday (stupidly jumped from 44/50 g to 100).Today I have had multiple large bowel movements and now this afternoon my lower left side hurts. I am wondering if this is my anastomosis hurting a bit?

Intellectually I know it's not a flare as that would be record time and I am pretty sure they said they didn't connect me up again where there were pockets. Even before the surgery I was described as having mild diverticulosis.

I am of course upset by all this and the ptsd is real.
