Co op Classes have been making make me feel everything but normal
I don’t know if this is an acceptable post for this subreddit, but for my entire life, I’ve been in special education classes since I was born with disabilities. Now that I’m in my last year of high school, it’s making me feel depressed.
I’m in a class with students who still act like children despite being 17-18 years old. They can act their age, but they don’t. They don’t have disabilities like me; they just score low. I know for a fact I get higher scores than my peers, so why am I here?
I was promised I would be put in regular classes since middle school, but nothing has changed. While my friends are in AP classes or leaving early because they already have their credits, I’m stuck in classes with kids who I can’t see having a future. I want to feel normal, but these classes make it impossible.
Does anyone have any tips to get over this?
