Feeling hopeful!
I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2023 and had a starting weight around 225-230. I'm 5'3 and currently 23 years old, and this morning I weighed in at 177.8! I haven't been in the 170s in years. I have been stuck around 185lb for 6 months so I decided to go back to my gynocologist and get back on Metformin and Spironolactone. After only two weeks starting on 500mg of Metformin, my weight has already shifted more than it has in months. I will be working my way back up to 2000mg of Metformin (which I was on for 8 months in 2024 but then had to stop due to travel) and I am really feeling hopeful. My diet and exercise have been consistent enough so I'm really proud of myself and can't wait to reach my goals and feel better about my body. Any other tips or words of encouragement are definitely appreciated as I continue this journey! :)
