why is higher dose making me hungrier?
ive been on 2.5mg for 2 months, then upped to 5mg (per GP's orders). went back to 2.5 after a month, since the higher dose made me feel nauseous, i couldn't eat much and vomited a lot. i went to a lower dose to get my body more used to it, then was supposed to switch back to 5mg. Well, im not as nauseous as i was at first, but im hungry. like hungry as fuck. i eat as much as i used to, but an hour after a meal, sometimes even less, i feel hungry again. like my body's telling me to eat more. i need to keep myself very busy to not think bout food. a similar feeling to "(pre)diabetic hunger" that was actually the thing that made me consider mounjaro.
im also on wellbutrin, which is also supposed to help me not be hungry. my blood sugar's normal (havent done a1c for some time). takin metformin as well (have been for some time)
im waitin for the appointment, but i just dont get it. why is a higher dose making me hungrier? shouldnt it be the opposite? shouldnt i be struggling more to keep calories in rather than out?
has anyone else been through the same? should this be considered a side effect or is something wrong with me?
