cold emailing works!!

I cold emailed directly to HRs of few companies asking for an internship opportunity and out of them two replied. Both initially said that they don’t have any opening rn and that they’ll get back to me when the opportunity arises. But today I received a call from one of them and now I have an interview tomorrow!! I literally jumped with excitement when the call ended haha.

Now I feel like if I can muster up enough guts to just speak up for myself I can do anything lol.
