Mid-thirties (M35)– greying beard, confidence dips, and hidden sides of married life
Now that I’ve hit my mid-30s, (M35) I’ve started noticing my beard turning grey/white faster than I imagined. Honestly, it does shake confidence a bit, especially when people point it out casually. Feels like this is the age where we start visibly ageing, even though inside we still feel young.
At the same time, I feel like mid-thirties is a very confusing phase for many married men. Career, family responsibilities, expectations… and then the suppressed personal sides – interests, desires, even kinks – that we can’t really talk about openly in real life. Sometimes I see discussions on Reddit where people are exploring these hidden sides because society doesn’t give much space for this.
Do you guys feel the same? How do you deal with the beard greys (accept, color, or ignore)? And what about these personal explorations – will society ever accept that married men too have inner worlds beyond just job + family?
