Colombia. Double taxation

So from my understanding if you live in Colombia more than 6 months you are technically required to pay taxes on your income even if its a remote job from USA.

How strict is enforcement or how does this work? Basically if they see if a foreigner has a visa and is staying in Colombia more than 6 months a year they do investigation and start asking questions etc? Anyone have experience or knowledge on this?
