AIO: Am I overreacting for getting upset when my partner forgot our anniversary?

Our three year anniversary came and went, and my partner completely forgot. When I reminded him, he shrugged and said, “Oh, I didn’t think it mattered that much.”

It’s not about gifts or fancy dinners, but I would’ve liked some acknowledgment. He thinks I’m being dramatic for caring so much about a date on the calendar.

It left me feeling unimportant. Am I overreacting?
