Okay this is kinda complicated

I have a crush on a girl who listens to math rock, and I am very naive when it comes to music genres. Like I would be a disgrace to a well experienced audiophile since I cant even distinguish between genres or understand them, let alone talk about them

But since I have a crush on her, im starting to like everything about her.... So like i really want to get into this mathrock and in general too, i want to start to understand music, anyone interested in teaching me?
