do i need to go to the gyno?

i’m 20 i’m about to start taking t i’m super healthy and have never had any issues or irregularities regarding the matter but my mom (who doesn’t want me to transition if that helps) is insisting i need to get a pelvic exam before i start t i feel like that’s kinda stupid and it’s not like i’m scared i’ve had a pelvic exam before i just don’t feel like it lol
