Passport control - arrival

Howdy! I've heard that it can take forever to get through passport control when arriving in Brussels, but I read an article from a couple of months ago that they were trying to make it faster. We're going to be arriving in 2 weeks, so also not peak tourist season. Is it still terribly slow? Or have they made improvements? Thanks!!!
