Timeline was offered fjo for doj in January and accepted but was rescinded due to timing on hiring freeze. Was just told that I had the offer again. Would be taking a pay cut and scared about current environment. I was originally interested in retirement due to be able to get military credit for 4 years in army. I have a very flexible job and higher pay. Insurance and other benefits are about the same. Is it safe to take federal Job now and be on probation? Or should I avoid this all together due to doge and political issues?
