Is it normal to have a assignment due every 2-3 days (for 1 class)

First day of sophomore year today, my classes actually don’t seem that bad the way their layed out with assignments and things beside my calc 3 class.

Basically from September 10th to the end of the semester my teacher assigned either a hw or quiz that’s going to be due every 2-3 days.

With that said , that’s maybe 1-2 lectures on a new subject depending on the days.

This doesn’t seem fair nor logical , is this normal for engineering classes cause wtf is this.
