New Construction Sod

Greetings,

First post - live outside Pittsburgh, PA in 6b. We just finished build a new home. Builder top dressed lot with top soil and put down sod throughout front, side and half of backyard. The other half of our yard has been seeded and covered with hay. Currently, the builder is running sprinklers till we take occupancy on the 12th.

Never had sod before so curious, how often should I continue to water and when should I add additional nutrients to the soil via drop spreader to the sod and the new seeded area. I’m assuming a fall feeding and then some kind of winterize mix?

I want to make sure I’m set up for success as the sod was not cheap and I don’t want it to die.
