Beach volleyball at Montevideo?

Hey folks, I'm thinking about going somewhere to immerse myself with Spanish (already nearly fluent). I also want to play beach volleyball and am wondering if there is a lot of beach volleyball in Montevideo, if people are friendly. Thanks!
