Help me understand

Why did the trust allocate us money if we’re only gonna be getting a small percentage of that money? I told that I would get $789,000, they didn’t mention anything about percentages or nothing. I was told that’s my award and asked the amount that I was gonna be getting, not a percentage of my award. This whole trustee thing is really pissing me off, they’re doing everything they can to keep more money for them and less money for us.
