Renting Fishing Gear in Sitka?

Hello! Visiting Sitka for the first time and I’m having trouble making fishing plans. As much as I would LOVE to do a guided excursion, I can’t afford that, so I am hoping to rent some fishing gear and get recommendations of where I can salmon fish along the coast. I’ve been googling like crazy and calling places in town searching for fishing gear for rent. No luck so far. Anyone knows where I can rent gear? And anyone have a recommendation of somewhere safe and legal to fish off the shore? Is there a good go-to place for fish processing and packing? Thank you!
