Seattle Immigration for non US citizens?

I'll be travelling outside the US for vacation for the first time since arriving here and wanted to check how the recent immigration back into the country has been in recent times. On my previous visits as a tourist, I almost always did pre-clearance in Canada or Ireland or Abu Dhabi, so haven't ever been through Seattle Immigration. This time round I'm here on a work permit and have been here 6 months, with a permit valid for another 2.5 years, but just a bit nervous since it's a new process.

Has the wait time been too long? Has the immigration questions gotten too gruelling or just the standard as always?
