Fleas!

So my sister found some fleas on our ferrets. We got them recently and so don’t have loads of stuff for them yet. I’ve checked tescos for flea countermeasures for ferrets but there were only things for cats and dogs of course.

I think the best plan of action is to take them to the vet tomorrow, but is there anything I can do to alleviate the pain/whatever the fleas are causing? We have a “small animal shampoo” from the previous owners and it says it’s suitable for ferrets so I could give them a bath and to get rid of the fleas/eggs?

Please send suggestions! This would be their first bath since we got them
