People who did it, how's being teaching assistant?

Hi, I'm a student from Argentina who's studying a programming undergraduate degree. If everything goes as spected, I'll be graduating next year or at least I would be really close. Wanted to know how's to be a teaching assistant, I know it's hard to say cause every subject, university, zone and country are different, but how was your personal experience? You'd recommend it?
