How mandatory is Transfer Orientation

So i understand that orientation is mandatory and there was the option to submit a waiver to be excluded that was due a while back. Im just curious what consequences I might face if I skip 1-2 of the days. I have a big standardized exam coming up on the 20th and orientation is taking place on the 17,18,19. i would like to spend those days studying and not walking around campus for 12 hours doing classroom tours and visiting downtown, especially since ive been to davis many times and am already familiar with the city. what can i do? are there options for me? i dont want to ask my orientation leader if i can skip for the fear of them saying no and then specifically looking out for my attendance.
