Tax reporting to vero Daytrading

Hi fellow Finnish daytraders.

This my first year daytrading, and I have started to think about the tax reporting to make sure I am prepared when that is to be done.

I trade US stocks only, and I never hold any stocks to collect dividends. So really the only thing I need to consider is the profit and loss from the stock sales. I take anywhere between 0-10 trades per day, so the number of trades per year adds up.

I use Charles Schwab ThinkOrSwim for this, so I can easily get complete activity statements for each month. But I have to do the report to Vero manually (unlike when using Nordnet). From their report I have no issue finding the numbers I need.

My questions:

  1. Can I report the numbers in a single row (the yearly totals), instead of having to insert all the sales, row by row? The numbers I am talking about is of course Total sales, Total profit from winning trades, Total loss from losing trades, and then the profit or loss.
  2. Since I trade US stocks, this is done in USD. I need to convert the numbers to Euro of course. Is it fine to use the average yearly currency exchange rate on the totals (Vero provide this average on their website), or do I really have to convert each day using the daily exchange rate?

The rest I have figured out.

Thanks a lot for any support!
