Trazodone + effector?

Hi,

I have been experiencing lots of anxiety, GAD and symptoms/thoughts like depression. My doctor prescribed me:

75mg of Effectin (effector) in the morning 1/3 of a pill of trazodone in the evening

As I am anxious I just read the side effects and I am scared. Just took my first dose of trazodone. So scared of having some attack or something.

Is it a common connection of meds? Is it safe to take both of them?
