Hi my mom might have cancer and I’m terrified
Hi this might be long idk I haven’t planned it but my mother has had belly pains and nausea for a few weeks and she went to the doctors, but the doctors were hitting her knee with the little hammer thing and her legs weren’t jumping, so there’s clearly a neurological problem, so she got an mri done a few days ago, we got her scans back but not a call from the doctor yet, we put a slide of the scan into chat gpt and on multiple devices has said she has a ‘very large mass’ in her abdomen, coming either from her liver, spleen, kidney or retroperitoneum, and is pushing against her bowels and spine but hasn’t interfered with the spinal cord or vertebrae yet. We have put this into chatgpt a good few times now but a few hours ago it actually said it could see a foetus in my mothers scan, very clearly, she did a pregnancy test and it came up negative, but this did make us question chatgpt obviously. (We’re not huge supporters or believers of ai but my mother is just very worried and curious). My mom rang the doctors to see if they had gotten any notes from the radiologist becuase the private company that did the mri says on their website only a few days wait for results, but my mother asked the doctors receptionist if that’s try and she said no normally a couple weeks, but then straight away said ‘oh wait your files here already but the doctors not in so I can’t tell you’ which is worrying becuase my mom only got the mri 2 days ago. We’re getting a call from the doctor tomorrow morning and I’m just so scared, I wish my mom never even opened the scan or put it into chatgpt becuase we’ve all been a nervous wreck the last couple days. For context my mom is 39, last gave birth 3 years ago, isn’t a smoker but does vape since she quit about 15 years ago and she’s not a large woman but isn’t very skinny. If anyone can give me any advice or insight into anything please do and obviously I know ai is never the right thing to do and is probably wrong about a lot but I’m sure it’s right to some degree. Thanks
