is Phd (CSE) from Jadavpur University, worth it instead of opting for TCS Ninja job role

basically title, my friend has recently appeared for UGC NET in CSE and qualified for it (NON JRF). Now he's planning to pursue a Phd from Jadavpur University. He's also having a offer of TCS Ninja (no joining letter yet). do you think is it credible in US/EU universities or in industry for postdoc roles?
