A man driving under the influence of drugs hit my car while it was parked. Not sure if he has insurance

My car and two others were plowed into yesterday by a man who was smoking fentanyl behind the wheel. The police came and took reports and arrested him. He didn’t provide insurance information but my insurance company (geico) was able to find a AAA policy under his name. I am hopeful his insurance company will compensate me but is there anything I need to do to protect myself? I wasn’t inside the vehicle so I’m not injured
