Simple service wiped all my satellite radio favorites and paired devices

I just had the packaged 45K mile service (cute video too). When the car came out, all my Favorites were wiped and my family's phones were not paired.. ..I don't know what else is gone. Service manager came out and was surprised, not supposed to happen, should saved those. No explanation-- but the offered my next oil change for free.

Is this a common occurrence or is there another component that should save but doesn't save settings?
