UK private healthcare options

Hiya, hope this is okay to post. I’m waiting to be able to be referred to neurology (have to exhaust all primary care options first) and after that it’s at least an 18 month wait. I’m thinking about going private since my migraines are getting worse and worse but I have no idea how to go about it or how much it could cost. Could anyone share their experiences?
