International MBA Programs

Admissions

Hi,

I am very interested in doing an MBA and I’m considering applying to programs for 2026 or 2027. I have a background in Public Health, but want an MBA to pivot into health administration or even to leave the health sector completely if I feel it’s necessary / want to.

I currently live in the USA in California, but my girlfriend and I are strongly considering moving outside of the United States. From the research I have been doing, it seems that an MBA from a U.S. university will have the most weight in the states and abroad. But I want to confirm if that’s true.

I also want to see what schools in what countries would be worth applying to for my future goals.

My long term goal would be to live abroad somewhere in Latin America or the Caribbean. More specifically I’ve always loved the idea of living in Mexico, Panama, or Barbados, but I am open to other countries. However, my girlfriend cannot speak Spanish. I wouldn’t consider myself fluent in Spanish, but I know that if I lived somewhere where I only spoke Spanish I could achieve fluency within a few months as I am conversational in Spanish. Because my girlfriend can’t speak Spanish we are also interested in Canada (Toronto and Montreal), the UK, and Portugal (although both of us don’t speak Portuguese).

In the short term I am open to a lot more countries. I am willing to get education anywhere, as long as that education would be meaningful abroad. Basically, i’d like to know how an MBA in different countries would hold weight in others. Where would be smart to get my education, so that I could move elsewhere and it would still be seen as valuable? For example, if I get an MBA in Spain, would the degree hold weight in Panama and Mexico? If I get my MBA abroad in X country how realistic would it be for me to get hired by a company from X country for a remote position that I could do from Y country?

Are there any U.S. based schools that have satellite campuses in other countries that I could attend?
