Should give up hope?

A few weeks back I wrote on here about my application experience, I have community board preference, already toured back in June and waiting for response. Since then I’ve seen people without community board preference and with lower log numbers be reached out to about submitting first round documents to tour (SO WHAT WAS THE POINT OF ME TOURING!?!)

I’ve been emailing the project manager about clarification of the status of my application only to be greeted with the same copy and paste email of working with lower log numbers and we’ll get to mines if and when (AGAIN, WHAT WAS THE POINT OF MY TOURING?!?).

My log number is in the 3400s, with that being said if they are doing community board along with the general public, I can only assume that it would take almost a year (17 months) to get to my log number (if they’re doing 200 log numbers every two weeks) .

Two months in, is it far to give up all hope?
