What if another reason Bojack hates himself is because he has the same initials as both of his parents (B. Horseman), and he subconsciously worries about inevitably becoming just like them? Like he sees himself in his parents and that terrifies him? Maybe he thinks it’s a curse and that anyone in his family with these initials is doomed to repeat the same awful behavior?
