living at home, london

I got an accommodation offer that I dont think makes sense to take.
The commute would be minimum 35min by tube, compared to 15min cycle from my current home (it will be 205gbp per week + travel)

I worry about how much socialising I will miss...?
I will ofc try to make friends on campus via my course and also societies, but how much will I miss out on by not living in halls? (im not a big clubber and dont drink alcohol)
