My father who was violent with me is offering to give me his social housing apartment
My father is offering to give me his social housing apartment now that he can't afford it and lives elsewhere. It's a large apartment with a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, corridor, office, living room, really a comfortable apartment. I'm a student and my family is poor (my father got this social housing through contacts) and it's either that or I wait years for a tiny one-roomed flat, I live in Paris so there's no other offer for people like me. Except that this apartment and the whole neighborhood is where I lived through my traumatic childhood (violence) and I have C-PTSD, DP/DR, a lot of problems because of that, also traumatic amnesia, I don't remember my childhood, in short, I don't know if it's a good idea to take this apartment or if I should get a tiny place instead, I don't know if I should drop the opportunity. Is it a bad idea? Any advice?
