Been on a progestin-only bc pill (Opill) with minimal side effects, will I likely respond similarly with Nexplanon since it's also progestin-only?

Thinking of switching to the implant but nervous bcs of what I hear about the side effects (weight gain, mood swings, constant bleeding). I have been on Opill for 4 months now and so far the only side effects I had was extra spotting for the first 2 months and less cramping during periods lol overall happy with it. I am wondering if since they're both progestin does that mean they'll have similar effects?

I know nexplanon is "Etonogestrel" while Opill is "Norgestrel".
