Regretting purchase

So, my wife upgraded her galaxy note 10+ to the fold 7 here in Japan based on my recommendation but she, and even l regret it. Two main reasons she wanted a new phone were, longer battery life and bigger screen, both tied to a more enjoyable Netflix experience (she binge-watches). The battery on the fold 7 is totally unacceptable, and letterboxing makes the Note 10+ screen an even better viewing experience. Because she can return the phone after the first 2 years, that's what she plans to do now. I feel bad recommending this terrible phone. I was seriously hoping software fine tuning will make up for the small battery size. I wish the Honor and Oppo/ Oneplus foldables were sold in Japan.
