What do you think (anyone)?

I have two question or need suggestions on 2 things :

1. Is it better for me upload long form content rather than the shorts. I see many of YouTubers saying start with shorts-blah blah- Is it true?
2. And letsay I choose shorts, so the content I am uploading, it should be same concept or on same niche?
