Any influencer/social media vertical folks make the switch into another role?

I’ve got about 9 years of career experience, largely in social media, with the last 6 or so years honed into the influencer space in the US. For most of my career I’ve been in various ad agencies, leading social media and influencer campaigns for household name brands. I’ve worked with everyone from itty bitty creators to celebrities to athletes to reality show stars, including negotiating contracts and reviewing their content.

And I’m over it. I’ve got some in-house experience now, too, but really, I just want to wash my hands of social media and influencer and try something else.

Obviously the job market right now is cutthroat at best, but I wanted to know if there’s anyone out there who successfully has transitioned into another kind of role?

I’m not particularly enthused about going freelance, just eyeing something like customer success or similar where I can still use these skills.
