AMD ADRENALIN SOFTWARE MADE MY PC SLOW AF

So i just got my pc just a week ago and yesterday my friends asked me if i already have installed an amd software, in which i don't know what that thing is and they told me it's bad for the gpu to not have it but inside that 1 week of me using the pc i have not encountered any problem at all. so yesterday they installed the amd adrenalin software, did some things, enabled shts. and one thing i noticed is it made my pc slow. for some instance a game i've been playing is running on 180-240+ fps without the software and when i played that game again with the amd adrenalin software already installed, fps dropped to 60-70. One thing i did was to uninstall the amd software and amd software installer but idk if i should uninstall the AMD Chipset Software that has been installed with them. I need help guys
