Do you work 2 or multiple jobs to survive?

i recently caught up with a friend who told he he has been working pretty much 7 days a week to afford his bills and save up for a car. I’m a temp worker so i usually work just one job at a time but i’ve noticed have 2 jobs is now the “new” normal.
