Field Practicum

I just need a place to ask other social work students about their experience with their practicum. I'm working towards my BSSW I don't have a driver's license because, honestly, my mother prevented me from getting one, and at this moment in time, I don't have the tools or time to get one. That being said, I am struggling with my placement. I was not told that my placement requires that I either drive or have a reliable form of transportation until the last minute, that being today, and I guess I'm incredibly frustrated because my start date has already been continuously delayed due to them not processing my information correctly and other reasons. So I feel like I'm already so behind on the hours I need, and the semester already started, so I imagine it is going to be hard to find a new placement, especially one that I don't have to worry about driving to. I've emailed everyone whom I need to, I just want to know how everyone else's placements are going, and that there's hope for me to find another placement that doesn't really, I guess, put me in a bad spot.
